Homecoming Senior Year

Since this Weekend is Homecoming Weekend at Handley, the theme of this post will be Homecoming........enjoy.

Hotel Rooms

The George Washington Hotel, next to Piccadilly Brew Pub, have set aside rooms for us on Friday and Saturday evenings at the rate of $99. The block of rooms are under Handley Class of 1988 and their telephone number to make reservations is 540-678-4700. I'm also attaching the website for the hotel in case some folks have not seen the hotel refurbished.

An Evite was sent out last week by Casey Stine for the reunion for folks to RSVP so we can get an idea of headcount. If you did not receive it, please let us know at jhhs1988@gmail.com and we will make sure you get added to the invite list.

Also, the $35 cost includes a dinner, dessert and non-alcoholic drinks (cofee, tea soda). The 2 entrees served at dinner will be Prime Rib with mushroom and roasted garlic demi glaze and Vegetable lasagna along with some side dishes.

I think most everyone knows that Handley is going through a major renovation. Mike Miller has set up a tour on Saturday Nov 1st in the afternoon for anyone interested in checking out the progress, I believe it is either 1 or 2pm, more details to follow on that but wanted to give a head's up that will be happening.

Mike has also arranged rooms at the newly renovated George Washington Hotel, next to Piccadilly Brew Pub, for $99 a night. I will post the information and number to call later this week for anyone wanting a room.
